How locked up is the device? Can boot loader be unlocked can it b rooted? Never heard anything good about the Intel chips in mobile devices. Why did they leave off the front camera? Video chatting with family n friends is way better then a phone or text

Bugjuicet3 Thanks this.

Rooting, cannot say anything about that. Forgot to mention, root it and warranty is void.

Am doing a battery test now, that is the biggest single failing at the moment from my pov, had it up to 93% battery, slapped it on dock, no charge cord attached, drained it down after 1.5 hrs gps only, 30 min on WiFi and searching the web, to be fair, I capped brightness on this test, but even so, 2 hrs is not a great battery life away from a cord for a tablet

Yes that was running the gps on the battery only
I will be hitting 100 % battery and going for a movie on Netflix on it in a few hours, results to be posted later, it
it does seem the battery lasts a little better now that it has been fully charged, fully depleted, fully charged.... battery break-in, ugh, what a pain -
I assume your advice to keep her DC powered with gps means leave the mag mount on a cord and slap the unit on it right? Not literally DC as opposed to ac? (side not, when plugged in ad on the "slice" under battery it shows "charging AC" (meaning active slice, not alternating current right?)
also, how fast is it SUPPOSED to take to charge it/battery life etc? Not to be a jerk but RM really dropped the ball not giving us any specs to go on here -

Battery Icon shows a lighting bolt. The tablet runs on DC power. If you plug into an ac source the Micro end will be DC.
Battery life will depend on what apps you have running. No way to set any standards because others will have different apps running.
Same as your phone, don't text or call, the battery lasts, start calling or texting the battery will drain.
DC means Direct Current.
AC means Alternating Current.
