-22 here in the wind ( tarping a load ) I would love being outside with your Labs or at Daytona watching the races tonight but no I am headed back up North
JohnBoy Thanks this. -
Empty in SLC, but believe me, not without a day full of issues. Bottom line, the appointment was set for Monday, not Friday. We got here and had a few calls to make to get the ok, we did and now are waiting on dispatch. What other business out there expects the employee to do their job correct 100% of the time, but other parts of the program is allowed to make a mistake, at the drivers expense? I have a pounding headache because of this load. The three stooges at the broker can all take a flying leap, and right now a couple of people back in Richmond can also.
I still love my job, and Abilene, but today was one of those days. I'm sure I'll be over it by tomorrow,Lonesome, jlind and gntorres61 Thank this. -
Ouch, John. Had some of those days myself. Tomorrow will be better.

jungHo, JohnBoy and RebelChick Thank this. -
After we got empty we headed over to the J to grab a shower. When we came out our reload info was sitting on the qualcomm. Dead head 645 miles to Colton and grab a loaded trailer at WM going to Henderson NC. Right now we are in Vegas taking a 10 hour break to regroup and get ready to go back east.

Enjoying the 65 degree temperature here in Brookhaven MS. Heading to Slidell LA in the morning for last stop on this LL load. Would've been there today BUT the first stop took 6, yes 6, hours. For half a truck. They were busy, and the delivery was supposed to be yesterday morning, but dangitall! Sandston is still running behind. Fortunately, I told the 2nd stop it would be Sunday anyway. Then heading to McEwen TN to pick up and back to the yard for home time. Not looking forward to the 30 degree drop in temperature, or the ice and snow. But, what are ya gonna do?
