I believe that would be a wiser route. One that does many things vs 3 things together can do all things. Add a smart phone and you have 4.

 

The cam is running and can be run in the background while using other apps.

 

If I'm seeing this correct.... I don't believe one can run the cam thru Skype its separate.

I'm certain if I'm not understanding this someone will let me know

They'd have to rename it the RM Phablet.. It may be their next release

 

So if the tablet had a forward facing camera and no ability to have rear view cam attached RM would still get complaints.

Again, the tablet was made and designed more for when you the driver was actually driving.
