I think I am to late for your post though. LOLmajestyk Thanks this. -
The #### hit the fan in the DFW area again. And when I said #### I mean snow. They called for a coating to an inch....bull####!! I delivered in Ft. Worth, it too me 3.5 hours to get to the yard. I35W...dead stopped. I35W to I30 ramp shut down from ice. They were talking about shutting down all the interstates. Everyone in the office left early...and the Commercial Channel (the weather channel) keeps showing the traffic issues here....

Ohhhhh really. ... no wonder I don't have a back haul and they didn't answer. ..... well guess I will be doing some off duty driving. Not going to sit in truck stop all weekend. They called on emergency line and gave me some line of crap. LOL I told them to just call and tell me so I am not left hanging and wondering. ..... I am in south Oregon in Klamath Falls. Reset my reset again. ... and by glad this week is over. It started last Saturday in up north and between break downs waiting for recievers to be open and weather I just made it here today..... weeeee. . Could be worse I suppose

A quote from the Weather Channel...."Dallas got 2 inches of snow....smashing the record".... (Denton must've really smashed their record...they got 5")
Load was suppose to be ready by 9 this a.m. But because of the icy roads, they didn't have anyone to spot trailers. Fortunately my 1st trailer was already at the door...rejected for a roof leak. They asked us to spot our own trailers to expedite getting loaded, so the 2nd trailer...rejected for an inspection being due soon (and the shop was short staffed because of the ice). 3rd trailer...rejected for a registration problem. 4th trailer...rejected for a roof leak. I am on my 5th trailer, and 5 1/2 hours late, I am finally live loading. I've been up since 5:30 because I needed to find out if I could get my miles pushed out for my service and I have to brave yet more snow/ice headed to University Park for a Monday delivery...but, on the bright side...the Dallas ice follies are over. For the 1st time in days, Google Maps shows most of the interstates are green instead of red or maroon.Last edited: Feb 28, 2015

Be safe out there, Polyites. Lots of places I'd rather be in ice and snow than TX.

I seen a Poly truck broke down on I-70 east of Effingham,Ill. He was west bound on the shoulder.
He was putting out his triangles. The hood was up on the truck.
This was at 6am. eastern time this morning. -
I got pulled over for the first time today(in a big truck) I-74 westbound in Illinois. Was doing nothing wrong, so was just a dot inspection. He took my logbook and paperwork and about 45 mins later came back and said everything was good and sorry it took so long, that he had a new system blah blah blah. He took so long I thought for sure I was getting a violation of some kind lol. Anyways my question is do we just put the inspection paperwork in our trip packet or do I have to fax it to someone?

Just put it in the trip pack....
ArmyGuy Thanks this. -
Roll paper is correct pack your lunch and then pack your dinner. It takes forever to load there.
majestyk Thanks this.
