The owners of this truck only have 2 years experience in trucking.... Swift drivers would know to not let a truck overheat.....

Even if they only have 2 yrs with experience you figure some one would give them advise without them profiting from it like kr

Same here with mine, I still can't get over him trying to feed someone this 180 degree BS. There would be an awful lot of junk Detroits out there if that were the case.

from what i gathered the block and head came from Detroit as a fresh re manufacture
and was disassemled by PP to Micro blue and reassembled by PP.

I can't see where Kevin had his hands on it other than maybe insisting they use the coolant that created the corrosion.

I'm not a Rutherford apologist, but I was honestly impressed. I thought he was making an effort to get to the root of the problem. Bruce, on the other hand, couldn't wash his hands of it fast enough. So why would any one buy anything from him ? You either tow it to his shop or he won't take any responsibility.

Well, we know two things. People with Evans installed correctly don't have corrosion issues. And when water coolant mixes with Evans it causes corrosion.

As slippery as the Pittsburgh Power boys were acting my first suspicion is they put regular coolant in while testing the engine and didn't get it cleaned out good before putting in Evans. Corrosion caused veins to plug and engine overheat. But that is only one of many explanations.

I do wonder, in the interest of getting information. If they will show us how the micro-bluing is holding up. Golden opportunity to get some info there. Some people say the micro-bluing is snake oil. Is it still on and working ?

As I understand it, the engine had problems from day one. The corrosion had to have taken some time to build up and restrict coolant passages.
