Melton is that flatbed company right? Spoke with a driver of theirs about half a year ago he told me "don't go where the moneys at go with a company that treats you like family. 2000 drivers apply at Melton every day ect." He was very happy there only made 38cpm though. Their equipment is gorgeous. But 38 cpm is way too low for the physical labor of being a flatbedder in MY opinion.

 

So it's to watch them while they sleep? Or while they drive? Where are they supposed to change clothes and p!ss in their jug???

 

Prime 42 cent split Werner 32 cent split.. US Xpress think they were at 48 cent split for haz teams ew hazmat.. Quest Logistics 48 cent split they have beautiful trucks, but seem to rigid with routing, and fuel stops. I program my GPS check my atlas and drive. Let's not forget Schneider think they're at 31cpm for solo us Xpress wanted to start me at 35 solo.. celedon was at 35 cpm solo too last I checked 33 sounds off I could be wrong. LOL Werner 32 cent split lmao how are u gonna split 32 between two drivers friggin' hilarious!

US Xpress was at 44 cpm non haz and 48 haz with a bonus on miles all my quotes are from drivers or recruiters. US Xpress was trying to tell me I had to unload dollar general freight |= not happening.

 

Rates are always negotiable just make the recruiters email eveything promised or they will play stupid when you have to shake them down.
