I was home 49 days last year...I stay out 45 days....then 7 days off at home.....I never do a 34 on the road....my days home are about the same...as a driver doing 21 days...then 3 at home...

 

You're the one paying for that inverter and APU by working for less money than the competition.

 

Actually no. See, I would never have come back to this thread. I don't care about Shaffer. But I'm not a big fan of lying either. I'm also not a fan of 62 mph companies that dictate every aspect of the job because people like Dave here can't do it. If I hadn't been brought up, I wouldn't have even bothered. "they gave Joseph all the long loads and gave me all the short ones". If that's not a whiny statement (that's also wrong) I don't know what is. After a 3000 mile week someone had a meltdown in the dispatch office after their first week. Wasn't me. Someone didn't get a west coast trip every week so they felt slighted. Entitlement is a funny thing. Especially after being somewhere such a short time. And someone felt the need to trash me because they didn't get what they want, because I run the company, right? Lol. I've said this many, many times. I've earned my spot here. By exemplary and safe service to this company and its customers since 2007. And when I left and came back, not a beat was skipped. I earned that. Keith earned that. Barry earned that. Jimmy did, as well as several other multi year employees who have done their jobs diligently. If you think that some new driver who comes in and starts demanding this and that is going to make me feel bad at all, you've really got another thing coming. When I refer people to come here, it's because I know that if they put in the work, the company will hook them up. Working a month or two and having meltdowns because they didn't get what they want is not my problem nor is it the company's problem. Rant done, enjoy your "experiment".

 

Nobody attacked you. I told you how it was. Because you were acting like a toddler. I was embarrassed that I referred you over here in the first place. And I've said nothing to you in months, you brought my name up. Own how you acted already instead of trying to trash me. Own it!

I didn't judge you. I gave you the benefit of the doubt and even spoke with you on the phone, telling you to call me if you needed any help. You took it upon yourself to meltdown at the yard and quit. And then came here and "Joseph gets all the long runs" and "Florida guys don't run west". You were here for what, a month? And you made all these observations in your long employment here? You do know I know exactly what went on, right? Do not bring me up again. I reached out to you and you stabbed me in the back and embarrased me with your tantrums. Never again.
