Started my own pet care/walking/washing business when i was 12. Handed out flyers door to door to drum up business.
Started my own video game services company when I was 15 and continued that to 18 or 19.
Started working at goodyear as a general service tech at 18 until 20. Worked in a machine shop for a couple months before going to CDL school.

Driving for coming on 2 years now. Started out in flatbed and recently switched over to a cattle pot.

I was a Mechanic at several car dealerships for about a year or two before that I was a soldier. I drove truck for the U.S. Army for almost 3 and a half years. I specialized in heavy haul, transporting mainly tanks and very large heavy equipment.... I miss it everyday.

    During college:
    Pool Salesman

    After college:
    Deputy Sheriff
    Route Sales Rep
    Insurance Agent

Im 29. When I see these young people / friends spending all this money to go to college to get a general business degree I hate it for them. Especially the ones who can't afford to pay per semester and end up 20-30k in debt at 23 years old from student loans. I got my degree in Finance because in 05' it was the highest paying degree upon graduation. Then the financial crisis came and finance degrees sucked to have. I think having a skill or trade, especially in blue collar states where I live is a good investment. Whether its welding or cdl school, the demand for these jobs is at its highest now and look prosperous for the next decade.
Personally, I just like being independent and not sitting down in an office at the same business everyday. And I don't like babysitting adults either that's why I'm out of LE.
