O ok so even tho you originally wanted to go flatbed you decided to just stay reefer? Are you going lease or company?

You will want to check out the logistics of teaming with a lease operator. Doing so will cause him or her to be fiscally responsible for your training costs that would come back to you when you left prior to your work contract being complete.

I'm an LO considering putting my significant other on the truck now as my team mate and just saying screw it to that because I don't feel coming out of pocket for that will be cheaper than just getting her a CDL in the next few years once I get out of here.

    Interesting........

I never heard about that. My understanding was I, and I alone, was responsible for the contract I signed.

I was still considered company either way, and it was MY obligation to the year.

Interesting to know for future. Will have to follow up on that one. Glad you posted.

    PEACE. :biggrin_25525:

How's it going so far? I have to fax a couple of W-2's to the recruiter tomorrow and I should be all set. She said I should be in the class starting May 11.
