Hey DY, just to clarify we are a W-2 company, always have been, we do however do a Per Diem, as it saves the drivers about 13,000 in taxes a year, (yes it saves the company some money also) there is no cost or charge associated with it, it's just done as part of payroll based on days out.

Hometime, weeks on the road dont get it anymore for drivers who want a life. 34 hour restarts just aint enough.

Hey Brian, good to know, I parked my Pete today with the 3 car I will be in one of the Cascadias with the 4 car, first drop in Champlain,Ny and a pick there, then bounce down to Greenwich, Ny drop there, over the New Hampshire for a drop, Bangor Maine for a pick and then down to N.J. for a drop and two picks, all units back to Kansas.
I am short on hours and am already on recap so not sure where I will get to, also will probably stop on my way out from Jersey to see my folks in Easton, Pa.
I will ring you up on here when I get close to your loop!

I can understand, and appreciate that, but then "those" drivers won't be applying for an OVER THE ROAD job, right?
Different strokes for different folks, see I would rather work maybe 4 months straight and then take 3 weeks off then another 4 months and again a couple of weeks, that way you get a real vacation twice a year, instead of walking around your house in zombie mode for the two days you are home every week. -
I have a customer in Greenwich, NY, Carmody Ford, sometimes I get to the Chevy dealer as well. Enjoy the time in Easton, my daughter lives in Bethlehem and my brother in law is in Coplay, just outside of there. Small world!

LOL, my son lives in Bethlehem, right across from just born factory. Down from the Casino.
