Yikes....I wouldn't buy a lone star. I drove an international for a year and it beat me to hades and back. Seems that celadon found a place to dump the unwanted lonestars from their lease program. Is there any truth to the rumor u can take the truck anywhere after 90 days? I see a lot of gross revenue numbers but what about net profit? Anyone care to share?

 

U can take the truck to another company that Quality Leasing is a part of

Well at 68 years old and one year OTR experience I'm going to jump in. 35 years experience running my construction business and maintaining and driving our own tractor and trailers should help. I think the best $ running out of South Dakota will be reefer probably running Western 11 inc. Cali (communist ########). To those of you who are already in what would you think of shipping fedex all my truck stuff bedding electronics etc.? to Orientation. ONE BIG THING: I don't want to fly to Indy until I know #### certain I am hired. Have 17 months left on my med card no bad mvr no criminal or drug/alcohol ever. See any problems ? Come on you youngsters, help an old guy out!!

Is this a walk away lease?

 

Yes it is.

 

They'll usually approve everyone before orientation now and as long as you pass the road test and drug screen while in orientation, you'll be golden. Where it used to take them a day to process applications, it's now 3-5 days depending on how long verifications come in.

 

They are owned by Celadon. Everything is approved by celadon. You can run wherever you want they will tell you up front how much load pays. . No prepass. Loads do notpay that well.

 

Running the western 11 I don't have to worry about tolls or as many scales
