Refusing a back.

Think it's tricking getting it straight on a dock like that?

Back in the day you were expected to hit the trailer square on the dock and have the truck angled from the trailer to keep it out of traffic... or blocking traffic as minimally as possible.

 

What do you mean back in the day? That's what you're supposed to do now as well! ! It's hard to believe some of these "drivers" think their job is to only go forward on the interstate.

 

The proper label is 'delivery boy' not messenger..

 

I know it's not the same discussion,but We delivered to a dock that was really hard to get into,they decided to build a 4 story building right next to it. We would go there late at night, and the equipment operators would leave their crap wherever they felt like it.I'd walk it and if I couldn't picture being able to make the swings,I'd refuse.They would give me a ground guide who would watch me crash into something if I trusted them for a second.We wound up eventually sending a straight truck until the project was complete.
