you know, I wouldn't have thought that Harley owners would dislike the NightRod so much. Well, I was actually looking at the Yamaha Warrior when I found the NRS. I would like to build my own bobber just to say I've done it. -
Spyder St-s, not necessarily bike, usually referred to as s "roadster", I guess you could say part sports car, part bike lol.

Howdy all, LTNS.
I got drawn back in here for the strangest reason and saw this thread I had been following showed up so I have to jump in as I used to and say........ I miss my bike. I miss driving but I REALLY miss my bike that would sit next to dispatch under it's cover for a week and every Thursday after the paper work was turned in I would uncover it and pack it maybe 42 times a year in Missouri no matter if it rained or snowed! Yeah a few times the wife made me drive the P/U truck in to the yard, and one time I'm glad I listened as a tornado went east bound on the north side of the interstate or on the other side of I-44 from the yard where it was just a setting waiting for just this occasion and the bike would have been setting, and did over 5 thousand in damage to the PU! Sandblasted it broke most of the glass and it was an extended cab 3 of 4 corners in headlights and taillights. Guess which one cost the most! LOLOL!! Yeah and it was still filled with water even though the mechanics were nice enough to tarp it so it got a little mildewey! LOL! Crushed velour upholstery does smell after 4 days under the sun and a tarp!
But I had an '04 Honda Shadow Black and Silver. Bought it in '05 and it was still in the crate! Poor thing was beautiful even if it was so dusty!
I'm still trying to get the brain to get back on line for a bike BUT happy to announce that after all the bull I've been through in recent years, it is coming back just not enough for a 2 wheeler or 18 which hurts BUT I can do Dodge Rams and Ford SUVs with no problems! If I can, an RV IF I can ever get that financial part of life fixed would be just fine as I know I'll never get to drive a nice ole Pete again! LOL!
I had 68,000 miles on That bike when I had to sell it in 2010 after they cracked the skull open! I even saw it for sale on CL last year. I almost cried I miss that thing so! Now! A hack I could do if I ever found one at the right price!!
The funny part about the P/U and the tornado was the quilcomm message that went kinda like: Do you own a red Mitsubishi P/U? If so call Rosie in HR/Claims.
That is NOT a message to get when sittin in NYC! LOL!
Now imagine if it had said ANYTHING about a bike. #1 is everyone from president to most of the drivers knew that my bike sat right there under that camera. Ya think you'd go ballistic wondering WTH they meant and if it was just a joke! Or hoping beyond hope it is a joke and bad one at that! I was thinking because both of my parking places were sorta close to truck traffic, I though it was hit by a truck, but a tornado? Nope, that never crossed my mind.
Now, as drivers and years of snappy comebacks, think of what you would say after asking, errr, no, DEMANDING what moron drove over your truck in a fit of rage many of us felt on the end of a phone call, only to hear her say it was a tornado that "ruined" your truck!!!
The wonderful feeling of Foot in Mouth Disease then a blank stare at that cell phone in your hand! You know the look. Deer in head lights, No, I didn't play our numbers this week, why do you ask and why are you so excited, or the "Do I look fat in this?" question answering stare.
Gots to go!

I currently have an 07 ultra classic with a little work done to it, stomps my buddies 13 street glide with intake pipes and a tune. I previously had an 11 Kawasaki vaquero that I bought brand new. Was actually the first vaquero they sold at that dealership when they first came out. That was the only bike I have ever loved, the bike also loved me back. Fall of 2013 me and a deer chose to occupy the exact same spot at the exact same time and purely out of love the bike chose to sacrifice itself for me. I walked away with a sore hip. Claims adjuster never finished calculating the damage, told me he just gave up when he got past $15,000. This Harley isn't half the bike that thing was but its louder and made here in Wisconsin so it'll do for now.
