Kevin Rutherfrauds $200000 Signature glider truck has complete engine failure!!!

4:43 central time...KR just said he'd rather build a 6nz or n14 now because there are no "parts supply problems" like the 12.7 has. How many years did he talk bad about Cats? He and Bruce are so unwilling to admit they screwed the pooch that they're trying to hang everything on Detroit. "Mismatched parts" that causes the sig truck failure like they claim does not change the fact that the owners were charged money for parts that were not installed.

 

Just to illustrate exactly how ignorant Mr. Rutherford is:
If you go to the Western Star Website to inquire about the new 5700 just being introduced you will notice that you can order that truck FROM THE FACTORY with a brand new Tier 3 series 60 14.0L Detroit engine which has no EGR, DPF or DEF system. Of course the catch is you can only use it off road.
The point being the engine is still in production and sold in many other markets that don't require the same emission standards. It is also widely used in marine and stationary markets all over the world.
Don't give me any garbage about how the parts are poor quality and hard to find.

Apparently someone told Bruce's side of the story to the KR-friendly crowd at the CMC. Some folks have alluded to the story on FB, but no one seems to want to publicly comment which suggests there probably isn't any meat to it...

I'm going with Illuminati at this point and a conspiracy of big oil against his super duper efficient glider package. Nothing to do with not changing the oil till 50k.
