I'm not sure on that. Best bet would be to call your DM first, just to be sure.

I always had problems getting paid for driver unloads and assists. Guess I wasn't their golden boy or something. I recall one load- 4 stops, trailer was loaded backwards, 1st stop in nose 2nd behind that, 3rd behind that etc. Had to unload entire trailer at first stop and reload. Sent in all relevent macros and phone calls, answer back was "computer says driver unload pay 'denied' sorry...."

i will never touch freight. Swift seems to be on a mission currently to short driver pay every chance they get now

here is one; To get layover pay you have to not get sent a preplan for over 24 hours after you empited out on your last load.

I have been empty WITHOUT a trailer as home depot had no empties since yesterday morning. So at 5 minutes to midnight i was auto sent a preplan to give up an empty i did not have just so it would break layover pay. I flipped out at the guy who picked up the phone over it and he flat out said its a new thing to stop layover pay. They again sent me a preplan today to give away an empty i do not have just to send a preplan to me today. Day before yesterday while i was on the phone with my dispatcher asking for a load they tried to get me to just give up my empty and it made her angry. They are trying to take empties from drivers just to get them to move the truck to break layover then it also makes it even harder to get a load when you are bobtail.

The planers are making money promises to take crap loads then not paying the additional money unless you call them out for not paying it and siting the quallcomm message they put it in. They tried that crap on me last week as well.

I haven't had it happen recently, but it is not a new thing.
And of course they try to save money by pulling this stuff.

If you are BT and they are trying to get you to move a trailer, accept the load.
And then make them find you that mt trailer.
You will get paid both mt and loaded miles.

it wasn't to move a trailer, it was to give up an mt that i did not even have. I am bobtail and have been given 2 "loads" to drop my invisable empty.

We understand that you didn't have an empty, what Moose is saying is for you to accept the load, then make the planner work to find you an empty solution, to eventually give up the trailer that they had to work to find for you. You make some money looking for the trailer, then taking it where they want it. .

    Yes.
It is turning the tables on them.
If they want to play dirty, there are ways for us to turn it around on them - sometimes.
    Yours is a prime example.
They want you to deliver an mt trailer that you don't have, in a effort to avoid layover time for a day.
But if you accept the load and then request a trailer solution, they will have to spend the time and money to get it for you. You might get 500 miles BT out of the deal, all paid miles, just to find an mt. Then you get paid the miles to deliver it.

I don't work for swift, but that is truly brilliant! Lol not being sarcastic. Sounds like their system is designed to #### you out of layover pay and this succinctly appears to #### them out of some miles and put some money in your pocket. Lol brilliant!
