Still waiting on the phone call. It's been 9 days since the phone interview. Every time my phone rings I get hopeful. Funny thing is, all my friends that used to drive for the company I'm with now have all been hired on at Walmart Dc across the country. I'm the last to go. I'm just trying to be patient.

Was just there recently, we get used there a lot! They ARE VERY busy there, it's the largest grocery DC in the United States, one of the most automated, and the highest volume DC Walmart has. If you get a tour of the DC you'll find it amazing. The food goes out as fast as it comes in.

    dcoty135 Thanks this.

Appreciate the thanks on my anniversary! Time does fly when you have fun and enjoy the work you do in the comfort this company provides.

Jim, I think New Caney may have y'all beat. We don't have any fleet drivers there. All Usxpress drivers. They do frozen, produce, meat, deli, dairy and dry. They have about 16 day cabs and service from Brownsville TX all the up to Minden La covering all stores over to Alexandria La. We definitely have the busiest in our region.

Here in TX we don't seal pallet loads unless they come out of the IDC. From a store to the pallet yard, we just lock ours. Sam with Sam's loads.

    timdriver81 Thanks this.

Woodland is 2 hours closer but I have no desire to work there since I know all Toby's stores, vendors, roads, shortcuts etc. I don't fix what's not broken. I'm happy at Toby and that's where I'm staying.

we are getting a Toby transfer out here in a week or so, maybe another... Pottsville is often a starter DC as people move on when transfer eligibility starts.
