Im still a student at Alliance training and Im thinking about going with CRST now that they have a place in Atlanta. Is this a good choice and does anyone else drive for them now? Do I have to have hazmat and a passport to work for them? Please advice. Thanks

Heres a better question, Im taking training at Alliance and paying out of pocket. CRST is offering me 0.33 per mile and reimburse me for the training cost. They still want me to go to orientation and on the road with a trainer. My back ground is rocky to say the least but has been many years since I had any troubles. They want me to come to atl on July 6 to begin. Im thinking bout going with them until Im looking better to get on with a better company (maybe 6 to 12 months Im not under contract). Any advice?

ok then what is a good company that will take someone with a somewhat rocky back ground? I have talked with Melton out of Tulsa anybody dealt with this company?
-
I'm gonna say you can probably find a lot better company than CRST.

Melton is an excellent company.

yes but it will be about 6 months before they will consider me. I spoke with a recruiter today.

CRST will most likely force u to do a team, since they r team oriented, and thats going to be not good.
