Or the screen gets hacked to show a clear road and they pass into traffic because they are lazy and don't look before passing.
I seen the ad/article. Its a cool concept. Not practical. Just as many people would probably still die passing each other. Just different vehicles.
    Stupid is as stupid does.
Now to the practical. Where are the fuel saving aerodynamic tails. That is suppose to help save 330 million American tax payers to breathe. HHmmmm.

yes you did, I even quoted where you said it....

It is a horrible idea. Why not teach personal responsibility, and acceptance of the consequences of ones actions, instead of thinking everyone else should help pay for your stupidity?

You must have attended a different type of school than I did ...

I quoted the article: "Driving is one of the most dangerous activities in the world "killing or injuring up to 50 million people throughout the world each year"

Post 26 pete1 said: "So now the truck drivers are killing 50 million people a year"

= Do take note in American English these two do not mean the same thing or even remotely mean the same thing.

As for the merits of the product I'm not the DOT, a truck owner, a trucking company executive, or insurance company analyst that makes those types of decisions, I'm just a guy that posted a trucking-related article I thought may be of interest to some drivers here.

yep a school where one thinks for themselves, and takes responsibility for what they post. you posted it, you said it, and you even use the excuse of having to pay for other peoples stupidity.

    Lets try this again ...

I quoted the article: "Driving is one of the most dangerous activities in the world "killing or injuring up to 50 million people throughout the world each year"

Post 26 pete1 said: "So now the truck drivers are killing 50 million people a year"

= In American English these two do not mean the same thing or even remotely mean the same thing. As a kind gesture I will school you though ...

Lesson 1: Note the article I quoted clearly stated driving injures/kills up to 50 million people a year.

Lesson 2: Now note how Lesson 1 doesn't in any-way-shape-or-form say "truck drivers are killing 50 million people a year"

    Class dismissed.

I need to find rock n rolling a sign to hang around his neck....

The idea in the article is stupid, your defenses of the article is insane, and the constant saying you did not say it, when you keep saying it, shows just how insane this has become.

Keep on blaming everyone else, and not taking responsibility for what you post.

How about putting lights on the backs of our trailers so we can see while backing at night? Who cares about the four wheelers? If they're in too much of a rush to drive behind us going the speed limit, and have a need to pass, I say let them have to work for it.

I love it when people put their resume on the net in these forums. When I see a person who has all this schooling, I don't think they are smart. I think they have been brainwashed by the most liberal/socialist institutions this country has ever produced into thinking they are smart. The universities. Just because you can read a block of text for content and regurgitate it onto a test doesn't make you smart. It makes you typical.

No, what you are saying though is that because four wheelers are stupid and kill themselves passing us each year, the responsibility for their stupidity and the maintenance/compliance of any new measures to lower the numbers of deaths created by stupidity should fall back on the truckers. Youre not saying it's our fault but you are saying it should be our responsibility. Which is the same in my book.
