Point is he was looking specifically Richmond to Greensboro NC.
There's hardly ever good paying freight going that route.

Broken trailer tandems and cheap rates are the kinds of things that make me mad.

The thing this Schneider section has ALWAYS had going for it is everyone that participates has seemed genuinely helpful, friendly, and welcoming of everyone, inexperienced or otherwise. We have many drivers who have absolutely nothing to do with Schneider that just like to come and participate in this section of the forum because it's a good place to be, and not a cesspool of arguments and bashing like go on in so many other sections of the forum. We've had drivers that have gone above and beyond to make an effort to meet in person, give advice, share experience, etc.
The guy obviously knew enough to get the hood open and was trying to get it to close, the alignment pins were probably all bent out or the latch was broken or who knows. Maybe not the best way to go about it, but he could have been whining to his dispatcher "my truck is broken, call service or I'm not moving it", instead he was looking for a problem and trying to figure it out.
I remember a while back I offered to make a video of the next trailer I ran across with issues with the locking pins on the tandems, and how to fix it, because you seemed to struggle with them a lot. I'm off the road for a bit and unfortunately up until this point I didn't run across one that was broken. But no worries, I won't need to use that camera for those purposes any more. Instead I'll prop the camera up on my dashboard and record you in your T680 sitting there frustrated as all get out because you can't get anything to work. I'll go around and post it to the Prime, Swift, and Crete subforms titled "Schneider fleece-operator struggling to fix basic issues with his trailer." That clutch sure went out quick... surprised Eaton didn't call driver abuse.
I'm done here in your thread. Hope Dougal sticks around to still call out BS in here from time to time, unfortunately I'm done getting caught up in all of it.Alatorian, Home_on_wheels, Hegemeister and 8 others Thank this.
