This new change to the board is making it closer to what Landstar offers their drivers with being able to set parameters. I was with LS for a very short period of time. It was a nice feature. Like some have said we will have to wait and see how it works over here.

Lol trying to keep within the posting parameters of your thread.....lol

No I thought your train post was a knock on freight dropping so I posted it.

I don't get worried about loads I'm sitting on one now that'll not be ready til 7am when it was booked as ready at 9am this morning.

Nah, my Swift post was just another stupid Swift joke I came across and felt like randomly posting.
I hate trains actually because they steal our freight.

We all have to make adjustments I'm sure from time to time.
Remember shippers, brokers etc all want to move loads at the cheapest and we want to move loads at the highest. It's a never ending war

Trains are one of the reasons I was told by my IC rep that we don't see much west coast freight on the midwest solo board. Schneider sends some out by rail and the rest is on team board.

You'll make a lot more $$ on the short to med runs than the long runs...

That's actually true. Every time I went out west I ended up at BNSF in Los Angeles. Most of the bulk freight comes from Chicago and gets distributed from there. I actually took a load that came from Chicago to Phoenix and took the empty back to LA.

Hey guys. I came on with my own struck couple weeks back. Still learning the load board. My question is they have decent paying 500 miles runs that pay well, but they have the delivery date two days later when they can completed the day, is there in away to accept a load and deliver early?
