You can do okay I'm sure but dunno about great.
You have to factor in Averages.
Even if you leave a place for $1 but came in for $2 (running the same miles) you're still at $1.50 which isn't the end of the world but not great.

So, what you are saying is that you pick a load that picks up on the 21st.. It is only 500 miles to the drop. You can run 500 miles in a single day on fresh hours. The appointment is set for the 23rd. So, that means you can not drop the trailer at the consignee the same day or the next?

If it says to drop on the 23rd that is the date you are supposed to drop it.
Now if the assignment says you can drop it from 21st-23rd then you can drop it anytime during that period.
If the load doesn't work for you then well you don't have to book it.
A couple months ago my ICA sent out a board message complaining about drivers calling him asking about changing appointments and he said basically to ####.

Over time you'll learn some customers just don't care and you can get there a little bit earlier but that's something you learn over time but I do not suggest not following appointment times.

    MachoCyclone Thanks this.

Ok. Thanks for the answer. I just wanted to make sure I understood it fully. I currently pull reefer and the only drop and hooks are at Tyson, Swift/JBS, and WCC in Colton, CA.

If you watch the video on the first page it explains how it works pretty well.

you could deliver the loads within that window... Now if there's a load you find on the board that doesn't have favorable schedule for you you just don't have to book it you can look at other things... Snyder has a ton of freight and you'll have plenty of choices to choose from... One thing I do myself is I booked myself up on loads that are not very tight I have plenty of time and favorable delivery schedule
