So of those of you who have used these, is there a noticeable difference in fuel mileage or sound?

Got one. Couldn't measure any difference. Then again, it's not more expensive than a standard muffler, so there's no real reason not to.

I don't know about the mpg's but the sound is nice. Really deep tone with a CAT. Not obnoxiously loud like straights.

Donaldson has a ton of different options: your basic 5" flow through can be ordered in 9, 10, 11, & 12" can diameters and in varying lengths with varying baffling.

On the "Track That Truck" fb page, Clayton Mallinson responded to my accusation that it is made by Donaldson by denying it. I trust Clayton, don't you?

Had never heard of the Track That Truck fb page. Glanced across it for a few minutes & saw sentences with snake oil written in them. Not I trust .... ;)

Sounds like that couple got tired of it & cut ties with them back in June.

    Bean Jr. Thanks this.

I used to read Bruce's articles, and I bought a few things from them. After the signature truck failure, I had my eyes opened to what kind of guy he is. I'm glad I didn't spend real money there.

I only got ripped on their mufflers. And made it my personal mission on here every time I see someone ask about PP mufflers to save them money and take their business elsewhere. I got ripped off so you don't have to. After I bought mine I learned of the Donaldson M100463 on here and know that part number by heart. Clearly M100463 is either stamped or etched on my mufflers (it was 5 or 6 years ago when I installed them) I went out and searched for it after I learned on here that I got ripped off. So i'm not just posting what I heard. I KNOW it is a fact that Pitts power mufflers are Donaldson rebranded.
