can some one help me, I was working on Friday, and I was parked into a dock, it was my first stop,of the day and I left my window open, and somebody at that company stuck there hand in my cab and on the front windshield snatched my cell phone that I had in my tractor and there was only two employees that were there on the dock and there was nobody else there picking up or dropping off anything, I was the only one backed in to that dock at that particular time so when I had got finished dropping off my one pallet of freight I got in my cab and notice my dam I phone was gone, now is my company partly responsible since I would of not been there in the first place if dispatch didn't send me there right, I wouldn't really mind but the phone cost around $800 and that's pretty messed up, i made a police report on that Friday so when Monday comes they said they would talk to the company's boss to let them see the video?

    stop with the blame game.

    you left your window open..??

you're screwed. unless the video shows something.

lesson learned, roll up your windows and lock your doors.

Really? How is your company partly responsible for your ignorance in leaving your windows open when you were not in the truck, and leaving it in such a place to easily be seen and taken?

Yep, either the video will show something.
Or he admits to stealing it.

Otherwise it's your word against his/theirs.

Yep that's gonna be an expensive lesson. Your company isn't responsible for your negligence involving your personal property.

Mine leaves the truck when I do. I don't let it out of my sight.

You always have to be aware of the surroundings and keep things locked up.

You have got to be kidding me. Company is responsible because they sent you there???

What a disgrace. I hope your not in the trucking field very long. We don't need people like you.

    LOL

Well technically he wouldn't be calling himself.
He would be calling the NEW Owner of his phone.
