Somewhere on here I stated I won't run more than about 60 miles empty to pick up a TQL load, as long as the money is right. Not all their agents are lying, cheating thieves. Just work with the good ones and leave the crooks by themselves.

I've been their defender, but I finally got TQL'd friday -- load "cancelled" (after being dispatched) and left me with a big loss in order to honor my word to other clients.

Still no word on TONU. Use caution when dealing with Chad R & his minions @ x51008

we did a blind shippment load ST Freight and got burnt bad on it,when we got to shipper i watched them load trailer they damaged a case on skid while loading i showed them the skis before they put it in the trailer.the guy straightened it up and said it was fine but the case was ripped open when loaded shipper put seal on trailert.upon leaving shipper i notified broker about the damaged case and trailer was loaded and sealed.shipper said he noted about the dameged case.when arriving at consignee whitch btw was a C&S warehouse they never documented the seal on trailer because seal was not listed on bol from broker.when finished unloaded and got my bills there were 14 damaged cases of assorted products and 22 cases of one product that was short.i called broker right away informed them of the damaged cases and the shortage cases told them we were picking up another load and needed to know what to do with the damaged product on my trailer, after several calls to them they finally said to discard the product.so the load only paid a total of $1000 when i got home and billed the load they charged us $680 sum dollars and gave us what was left of the $1000.i am furious over this,in fifteen years of trucking never have i had a problem with loads i hauled.how can i be held responsible for #### missing when my trailer was sealed at the shippers.I WILL NEVER HAUL ANOTHER BLIND SHIPPMENT EVER!!!!!!!!

So the problem there really had nothing to do with the shipment being blind. You signed off on BOL's that had no seal number noted on them. You let them seal your trailer after the both of you agreed they damaged product they loaded on your trailer and they conveniently did not put a seal # on your bills. What did you think the receiver was going to do? You left yourself wide open for that one. If they seal it they gotta note the seal on the bills and you should always sign the bills "S.L.&C." shipper load & count to cover yourself.

the shippers bol did have seal number on it.it was after i loaded had to go and stop at truck stop to have different bols faxed to me from the broker for the consignee.broker had told me when booked the load do not tell shipper where you are delivering to.and do not show the consignee the shippers bols.it had everything to do with being blind shippment

You didn't tell the broker to note a seal number on it? I'm not saying what happened to you was right but you have to take care of business so this stuff can't potentially bite you.

They did that to me once in my home state NH. Was at the customer site waiting to be loaded and they called and said it was cancelled. I brought up TONU and they said I would get it when they got it. Went on for a while so I called the owner of the company. He said they had already paid $250. I called TQL back and told them. He called me back and said I was right and they paid $125. I then got on the phone with the owner of the company and told him. He put TQL on a conference call and confronted the agent about them keeping the other $125. I got the whole $250.

Months later I went to haul a load for them and they said I was on the no load list. I asked why???? He said there was no reason and must be a mistake and took me off.

    Good for you.
I need to get a ph recorder so I can keep track of what some of these fools promise. Just to protect myself.
