What kind of alarm clock do you use?

I hit an uneven lane about two months ago going into construction single lane type deal. That P O S went off for 10 miles of single lane. It was in the bunk well out of reach. Needless to say, it went out the truck as soon as the opportunity came available. It was loud, but I didn't find it to be as reliable as I hoped. So getting rid of it wasn't a bad thing. Just sucked it was 20 bucks gone.

    I use this one:

Samsung might have my phone and Sony might have my TV, but I'll be ###### if they are getting my alarm clock.

Yep. had the same problem. Somehow it got turned on. And somehow it went flying out the window.

If you need an alarm that loud. The trucks radio works just fine with the phone.

I use my phone but set 2 alarms 15 mins apart. You should be checking your atlas to check your progress every night anyways, at least I do. When I do if I know I'll be crossing a timezone then I verify where it is.

Make sure you read the directions on how to shut this thing off, when you wake up in hysterics, before you set it and go to bed.

I use the timer on my fone. No need to worry bout time zones. I never leave Texas anyway.

i used to use a very simple wind up travel alarm clock. it was not 100% accurate in the time the alarm would go off however, and it was an old dial face, not digital. as i would cross time zones, and get to where i had to be, only then would i set it for that time zone.

being a alarm clock, and cheap, it served a purpose. i was once given one of those screaming me-me's, and i could not shut off the sucker. i wanted to throw it out the window, but then i'd have to buy a new one. i got up, threw the dam thing in the back of the trailer.

but then, i couldn't get back to sleep.
