A month ago I bought a 2010 Cascadia with DD15 10 spd Smartshift. Been a really good truck so far. But i can't get the high idle to set. It idles around 850rpms.
Anyone know how to set the high idle? Or is there something wrong with it?

Hmm, you know too turn on the cruise and hit resume, then toggle up or down to adjust the revs.
Unless it's been locked out. -

ECM probably set so you can't do that. Probably need to hook up the computer to it and check the settings.

Have you tried setting the idle up with the trailer brake locked and tractor brake released? Cant really think of anything else.

Company truck with opti idle or anti idle it would be off. They use the ambient air sensor to determine wether it can idle or not. Most companies are setting about 40 degrees to 68 degrees as a window the truck won't extended idle. If it can idle at the lower setting for long periods, it won't hurt anything more than it would at 1000 rpm.

I bought this truck from Lone Mountain Leasing.
I though idling under 1000 was bad for the truck and builds up carbon?Mr.X Thanks this. -
