Let me guess...for Kitchen Aid near Greenville Ohio? They are always trying to get drivers to do runs like that through about every company I can think of.... If it were just the night run that would be great but yard dog crap sucks as does dock work...

Supposedly, they had a guy around here that ran LTL freight. This was a linehaul back to the Fort.

Promised pay is conditional of job offer, orientation isn't a guarantee for employment, so? Your argument isn't valid in my opinion, what was the reason they didn't hire you?

--They refused to give me a reason why they let me go, and I did sign an employment agreement with them. And yes, they did say that the 3-day orientation was guaranteed pay. So, I'm not making this up. If u want to hook up with them. Be my guest. Hopefully it works out for u. I'm just sharing my experience with u. Go at your own risk. I don't trust them.

I thought we were talking about this trucking company. Not bashing any particular religion. There is a seperate section to spread your hatered of us christians. Go there and talk about it.

If you like another member's signature, feel free to PM them to let them know. Conversely, if anyone dislikes a particular signature, you have several options. Either ignore it, place the member on your ignore list, or go into your settings and block signatures. But, let's keep this thread about the company and not about the sig, please.

Didn't know we dropped the hiring age to 16. Children usually aren't a good fit at Cheeseman.

When you sign paperwork on the first day of orientation and have to listen to company policies and are told of the company rules, and fill out benefit paperwork I would say you are an employee! Non trucking companies don't do this! Why and how do these companies. If a company makes you sit around for 8hrs for 3 days and pays you $150 that is only $4.69hr. Way under federal minimum wage. As truckers we need to put an end to this!!!
