Dude are you sure you work here? If that's your attitude I would be suprised if you succeed in this environment. It is big boy trucking for sure. You will get treated according to your own performance. With a few exceptions the agents here are the best. It doesn't take long for you to figure out which are the really good ones and which are just ok and which you rather not deal with. It doesn't take lo g for them to figure you out either. Business is all about relationships. Plain and simple.

Even if the money was the same, I'd still do flat bed, just due to quality of life issues. With a van, most of the warehouses you deal with could care less about you or what you have in the trailer for them. with a flat, well. You will see.

Why didn't you smoke tarp the top bundle BEFORE they put it up there?
And dude, a ladder is required equipment. It's like not carrying chains or straps. At least get a cheap extendable from walmart for a hundred bucks. -

I don't have one. Never needed it. But I don't tarp 8ft

Wait a minute!?!?
There is a "Good Ole Boys" club here? Do you become a prospect first? I just knew there had to be some kind of secret handshake that nobody was talking about on this thread. No wonder I always get such crappy loads. That's IT! I'm going to go chew on that wilted brown grass for a while. -
