Soooooo guess I'm not switching over after all... Any Van guy that wants to switch over to flat has to come up with all the money for equipment up front because so many are switching over.. But the guys who are coming in off the street get the half down deal.. Smh that's crap...
blacklabel and taxihacker66 Thank this. -

Find a used head ache rack at a junk yard for 250 or so. I bought two brand new tarps from a guy that quit. Said he couldn't stay loaded, yet his tarps had never even been unrolled. Still had the rope on from the factory. I would let you have my older tarps pretty cheap. they've been patched a couple times, but still in good shape. Less than three years old. six chains and binders will get you going, don't need ten at first. Every time you are at Louisville go ask George if any one has used one's in the warehouse. then it's just a matter of straps and bungees.
blacklabel Thanks this. -
Yea I'm putting a plan together now. I have the money just don't see why we who work here already gotta get the wrong end of the stick.. That's kind of backwards

It's a raw deal but once you get the flat you'll make that back in less than two weeks easily. Maybe one with the right two loads. I'd say get it and be done with it. @CJndaTruck is living proof.
duddie Thanks this. -
Ok so I messed up big time.. pvc pipe sucks.. messed up my stop order lucky he didn't mind moving the other customer pipe to get his. Then the load shifted... I can't get my straps to stay tight with these. They keep coming lose lol.
