Its been a while since I posted and many changes have happened, so let me share some of them.

I am no longer working for PTL. I am no longer driving a truck. In fact, I am no longer in Michigan. Here's the short story.

A few weeks ago, my daughter called to tell me that my Army son-in-law was deploying to the Gulf region of the Middle East a year earlier than originally planned. She asked me if I would be willing to come down to Lawton, Oklahoma, home of his duty station at Ft. Sill, to help with the grandchildren so she could continue her job and schooling. It took me about 3 seconds to get the answer out; some coordination with PTL and here I am. For the next year, I'll be living in their spare closet-bedroom (it's an old house) and driving his car.

After he returns in a year, who knows? I doubt I'll go back to trucking; I will be 68, out of trucking for another full year, and I have checked the 'drive a truck' box on my bucket list. Maybe I will go back into retirement.

I thank each of you who have read my ramblings in these past few years. I wish each of you success in whatever you do; you are my friends and I value friendship.
