Well, in spite of what I hear about Swift, some guys seem to be doing OK. I start orientation this month.

    Thanks.
I've had ####ty days but I understand that any business isn't all peaches and creme.
Couldn't find an Empty for 2 days once, but I was paid for driving around looking for one. Driving to 4 locations.
I'd be livid for a SF if I felt I did not deserve. I would have to find out exactly why. I could quit for something like that.

Im not saying it cant and doeznt happen.

I think a lot of companies are ragged on just because it seems like the popular thing to do. I dont think thats right.

But,..... I do find it hard to believe that a newb driver at swift consistantly pulls down that kind of money. I bet most dont.

I know i want to be believed when i post but the truth is Im just another post amongst billions on the internet; that makes it harder to believe.

Im not saying that swift is some terrible monster, but I still wonder why this guy is pulling down so much compared to most in his position.

It is not difficult to get miles at Swift. As long as you are not picky on where you will go and how early you will roll. My significant other always kept moving because he was one of the few drivers on his dm's board willing to start his day at 3 am.

They may work well for me. I'll run anytime of the day as long as I'm legal. I also will go anywhere and want to go anywhere. In addition, I plan requesting to stay out about 28 days then 3 or 4 home.

    Smooth_Operator Thanks this.

I know that swift has raised their pay a good bit.

Maybe its just the folks that get a license through swift that get screwed.

I just like to know all the info I can because most folks dont seem to make this type of money from swift; certainly not starting out.

This makes a huge difference if you can run anytime....can suck at times but is a great paycheck enhancer.

I have a lot of stamina and tolerate shifting sleep schedules well. I actually prefer to run nights, but will run anytime.
