Got a rate agreement from a broker the other day...Shipper: UNAARCO in Wagoner, OK. Consignee: Walmart in Pasco, WA. Rate $2.68/mi. (Including FUSU) Weight 11,025lbs. Of course I jumped on it. Get to shipper...I'm picking up used Walmart shopping carts!? Lmao. They are being relocated. Guess there's a shopping cart shortage in WA state!??? What types of weird or unusual loads have you hauled before?

    Ougigoug Thanks this.

That should equal perhaps a hundred carts. That may barely take half your trailer. :)

An entire bowling alley(it included multiple lanes, scoring tables, ball return, minus the pin spotting machines and bowling balls). Picked up in Muskegon, MI delivered to a freight forwarding company in Seattle headed by boat for Alaska.

Custom boats made for a life guard competition. Called self bailers. Shaped like a normal v-bottom row boat, but the bottom half was weighted and filled with polystyrene, the top half had holes cut out so it...auto bailed. Picked up in Asbury Park, NJ. Right next to the Stone Pony pub where 'The Boss' got his start. And Asbury Park was so run down, you heard gun fire in the projects not far from where we were, and the cop's circled us ever 5 or 10 minutes to keep us safe.

There is a homeless epidemic on the entire west coast. It has gotten so bad that there is a thriving industry devoted just to shopping cart recovery.

Could also be a new hipster art movement. "Check out my shopping cart coffee table"
