Projecting a Positive Attitude - Will It Help???

When I was at Gainey my dispatcher told me I was his favorite driver because I never once complained about anything and always made ontime delivery.He was a very nice guy,so for Christmas I sent him a card .The lady at the company who takes the mail put it on his desk he opened it and he told me it brought tears to his eyes,no driver has ever sent me a card he says.

 

When I worked for a mega my fleet manager would take me out for a steak and a beer whenever I was in town.

Recently, after learning my agent is a cigar and scotch guy... he got a package of hand picked Cubans and a bottle of Johnnie Walker for his birthday.

 

I really don't like having to edit my comments. what a funky keyboard, looked OK the first time when in a hurry..

You know Johnnie Walker gets watered down quite a bit before it's bottled and sold.. seems they all do it anymore because they keep up the demand. It's long a process to make a few gallons

I wouldn't bring them anything. I don't think there allowed to take gifts because of favoritism. With Swift you won't be starved for miles if your a good driver and always on time. Just do your best and the best will come whether it's with Swift or somewhere else in the future.
