    "Too?"

Who else was a pharmacist? And no, I wasn't a pharmacist. I was a pharmacy technician. Basically, the good ones have all the knowledge of a pharmacist but the pay and permissions of a peon.

Some days I knew more than the pharmacist.....

That's why you have to grab 100% cherry juice. Otherwise it will be loaded with sugar.

Well I had my usual stellar down to the minute planning ruined by ####ing morons. Again. lol.

Figured I'd get the deadhead back to the DC out of Columbia and did. Had time + 30 minutes to get there.

Show up at Pepsi in Columbia and there's 4 trailers on the yard and they haven't touched any of them all day. All loaded.

    Stuck here for the night.

That's not exactly the word(s) I used lol

They had an 'employee appreciation day' here.

They didn't do anything all day. Except their trucks, of course.

Today I am glad I'm not a mileage guy...planned myself on a short load from Houston to Palestine, TX. Took me 2 hours to drive the 33 miles from the house to the shipper and it was before rush hour.

Fuled at that lovely Pilot on McCarty and though I was gonna witness a murder

    image.jpeg

Container was none too happy that the guy in front blocked the scale and disappeared. As I was leaving the guy was coming back and it looked like a confrontation was about to take place. Fun times.

Got loaded at the shipper and got on the scale and I was 80,060 lbs gross....but that doesn't concern us super truckers so off I went!!!

Coming out I see this blocking my path.

But I knew how to get around so no time lost.

Made my drop in Palestine than scooted over to Wilmer for a preload and instead of fighting Dallas, I'm parked at the yard for a short haul to Duncan OK then right back to Sealy.

You gotta wonder how some of these folks make it to the yard in their car before they ever even get in the truck lol

Just got off the phone with one of my former students I still talk to a good bit. He's at bud in Williamsburg. Picked up a trailer half loaded, all the way to the front. Tandems all the way up and 37k on the drives.

He told her that would never work. She asked if he didn't have 16 holes he could move it forward. He pointed to the wheels full forward. She asked him if he just couldn't take it on? He's sitting in a door waiting for rework. They knew a half trailer wouldn't go loaded like that. They were just hoping someone would take it. I've had my own issues there. They routinely overload them just to see if we'd run with it and then take off just enough to get it under 80k

More than enough stupidity to go around today it seems.
