I was enjoying the nice cool breeze here in Conneaut, OH, until the ####### next to me turned on his APU.

In Minneapolis this past winter, I had to drop one trailer in the middle of a crowded and sorta busy parking lot. Then back under the other trailer in the dock at about a 45° angle, pull away and drop that one. Rehook the 1st trailer and jack it in the spot next to where I yanked the other one. Hit it on the first try, but was at such a bad angle, I couldn't leave it that way. Spent the next 20 minutes on the snow and ice trying to get it perfect. Drop that one, rehook to the other and boogie back to indy.

Moral of the story is jack knife docking sucks. Especially in the winter

Picked up in Atlanta this afternoon....and got outa Dodge! Sitting at the receiver in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Only truck here and it's really quiet. It's a dry broker load so no reefer running. Got the windows down a few inches. No APU... So nice and quiet....
Except for the 3 freight trains in the last 2 hrs....
2nd drop about 11 miles away... Then a reload in Union City Tennessee headed up to the Twin Cities....
    I think I hear banjos....

Great place for a motorcycle ride.
Lake avenue is a great short little trip to ashtabula, runs right along the lake.
If your heading west,I highly recommend taking it to bula, and grabbing 90.

    TruckDuo Thanks this.
