You're thinking of the BP at exit 93. Had the Indian restaurant. Long gone, burned down last year. They knocked down what was left and fenced it.

ran into a driver drives for 'olhands co guy didn't know him......sigh
so then i was unsure if he even existed
then the guy says he had to go to Texas last week because some guy was off....that was a lil better
so how could my hero not be known to everyone......sigh

 

I stopped at the Love's in Sparta, KY to take my break, fuel and try the barbecue place next door, Hog Wild Pig Crazy.

I parked and walked over, intending to pull up behind a truck fueling after I got my pulled pork sandwich and eat while the guy in front of me got McDonalds, jerked off or did whatever drivers do when they should be fueling..

It smelled promising as I walked up. I ordered one sandwich. Asked for sweet and tangy sauce.

Got my sandwich, pulled behind a mega and proceeded to eat.

Disappointing.

The meat was dry and rather flavorless. It was small too, $6 for a sandwich the size of exit 87's regular sized sandwich with less meat.

And it was dry in another way. No sauce. At least none that I could taste.

It's rare I give a thumbs down but I do. I think the only other place I have was that Chinese place in Lietchfield, IL that gave me food poisoning.
