Many moons ago, when I worked at that construction co at I90 and rt 25, it seemed like every year, for 9 yrs, I got tagged. One time, before ezpass was around, some dude in a freshly painted jeep Cherokee tried sneaking between me and another truck. He crumpled the edge of my front fender on the trailer. His body was knocked 2" over on the frame. His passenger side that got my fender had all kinds of black swirl marks from the drive tires. Oops

 

How do you know that Danish is Swedish ? .... Is it from Swedesboro ? .... you sure it ain't Finnish ? ...

 

for all we know, it might be a Danish Finish ....

 

Cause that danish belonged to this Swedish

Hey, Mr. Pack, I couldn't find a parking area on Google satellite that I would feel comfortable with... I saw the Border Patrol station and saw some small parking area just before the bridge north of Del Rio... and then saw a wide shoulder after the bridge... But I ended parking with 3 hrs left at Pilot in Eagle Pass... not bad at all... Went thru some freaking heavy storm with very dark clouds and torrential rain and strong winds...

Will catch up with you all next time... gotta go now...

Good deal. I didn't think you'd have too much trouble finding a place to park.

That parking area is kind of hard to spot unless you know where to look for it.

I will have to grab a mile marker for it next time.

I recommend the US90 run to Van Horn. It a nice change of pace from the faceless interstate. Plus the phone service along 90 is better than going up 285. Nobody has service there between Sanderson and Fort Stockton, not even Verizon
