Do you tip for showers?

Nonetheless, a simple word of encouragement, praise or thanks would go a long ways, if not farther, than a monetary tip of any amount, I'm certain of that one.

The last 3 Pilots I showered at I had to wait for a shower . If I have to wait for a shower I'll go back to Love's . I'll have no problem purchasing over 1,000 gallons of fuel a month and earning Platinum status so I get a free coffee every purchase instead of after buying 9 .

Ask yourself....

Or better yet......

Have you and each one of your employees randomly any day of the week....

Go into your showers and actually USE THEM like a paying customer would....

Then ask yourself, "What would I REALLY like about my shower experience I just had?"

Then come back and tell us what you experienced. Because we do it on a daily basis.

Flyin hook/pilots have small rooms. I feel actually claustrophobic in them.

The showers suck for shelving for putting shampoo, shaving and soap on.

If ONE THING in a truck stop should be made to be as HOME time feeling, the shower is one place I would NEVER skimp on.

And send that right on up the corporate chain too.

ETA:

Recently I was out in Twin Falls ID at a Pilot/Flyin J. There was a corporate dweeb there really going over the coffee island with a couple of ladies there. I was ready to give him a piece of my mind for the fact he was REALLY trashing THEM in front of customers.

You want to inspect and such, fine, inspect.

But do NOT do a damning review in front of customers.

If the shower is actually clean, I do leave a dollar an whatever loose change I have. I feel for the people that clean them. I pick up after myself, wash any hair from the sink if I shaved etc. But there are a number of nasty drivers that leave a disgusting mess because they dont have too clean it. It has to be one of the worst jobs besides driving a 55mph Prime truck.

I never carry cash with me while I'm on the road.but even if I did I would not leave a tip.

As a person who has done this job, look no further then your entitled attitudes as to why your rest stops and shower experiences have been terrible as a whole.

I use to respect truck drivers untill this job. I don't want your lousy tips! The lack of respect you show towards yourselves ,your fellow truck drivers and those that serve you is appalling! Most of you are disgusting pigs, you show no sense of concern or appropriation for the folks that clean up after you.

I heard a couple crying because they have to wait on a shower, lol, like that's all trucks stops require of us, just serving the showers. No, our plate is actually quite full.

I busted my ### ensuring that waits where minimal and your showers were always clean, but after six months of the reasons I posted above, yeah, I really didn't care what any of you had to say, just shut up get in your shower and get the hell out.

Dude, just like most people in my profession don't give a sheet about me, with your attitude I feel the same about you, shut the F up and clean my shower.
