Hearing this is really hilarious... As most of the times I get stuck are because I am dispatched for 10pm pick-up... With a 430am 1st stop appt only 175 miles away.

The write up form is there ready for your signature if you are late for pick up!

But I was kinda enjoying it, stopping for a good meal, watching a DVD on my flat screen... Being well rested to unload 10-16k of garment hanger trailer.

That is actually better suited for the CFO, Chief financial officer.

COO is responsible for the lack of training resulting in the high turnover.

My background actually was writing operating procedures with six sigma quality controls.

I'd ignore te message , or reply "It's hot/cold". Your job isn't to make their idling %numbers it's to deliver freight

Ignoring the messages would be the way to do it if weren't for one thing, warnings go on your record. If u get so many it could result in termination.can't believe his coo is making him out to be a criminal lol.don't mean to laugh but surely they have much bigger fish to fry.

Call me crazy but why is the COO dealing with this? Isn't idle percentage something his dispatcher/"manager" deals with?

And if he was one of the worst offenders in the fleet...You'd think he would have been notified beforehand before it became an issue. Something is definitely wrong

op sounds like he's a good driver but yet according to the coo he's one of the worst.Doesn't matter anything that don't fit their policies, departments are on drivers like flies on crap paper.how often will u hear anyone praising drivers for the work they do.

It's an automated message, and I believe there is a glitch in the system my friend just called me about an hour ago and telling me he got the same message from Richard Stockton his idle was 19.44% last week.

But he was off from the 3rd to the 9th of October and left out on the 9th said that he has not even idel the truck at night intersting he had very high idel last week but was off hmmmmmmmmm.

MM3Deg, go into the Performance Monitoring tab on the main menu of your Qualcomm and it will show your idle percentage for the load you're dispatched on .

I have been tempted a few times to buy a six pack of cheap padlocks at Home Depot and shut off and lock out all of the ac condensers at the Lancaster terminal because I cannot stand dealing with those pricks.
