The only way you're one of the top offenders would be if they're only comparing you to other drivers on the same account you're on. I couldn't see your idle rate being higher than an OTR driver. Mine was #### near 70% when I was in Texas for a couple days.

    Lol..
    it shows over idle 50.29%.

Also shows cruise control at 42%.

I run interstate highways in the middle of the night....

Should be cruise control around 80%, idle 15-20...

Also makes me wonder if the message was sent to the wrong truck. I once got a message for a guy named Ishmael congratulating me for driving safely. Wasn't sure what to make of that.

    Ugh... My bad.

Was just trying to figure out how to take a picture of the message to post.

It says generically.... One of OUR.

    NOT

    one of four...

    Ok
so now I feel better about it being system generated.

But still had me at 47% which makes no sense, but cruise is off as well.

Looks like a system issue, and I will not be checking the truck in for a solution.
I already keep getting another message about some repair campaign, I gotta have truck turned for by 10/28.
Will just add this issue to the list then.

Idle is figured like this: truck engine is running for 10 hours, you drove 5. Your idle time is 50%. If you run the truck all night on your 10 hour break and only drive 8 or 9 during your day, it won't take long to be crowding 60 or 70 percent idle time.

The message states the expectation is 16%.

Right... But lets say I ran stand by my first month on this gig.
Did alot of idle time three months ago.
Then had some break down and flat tires 2 months ago.

Could that still be dragging me down?

Any idea how it's sectioned out?

I don't know how swift divides up their time slots, maybe monthly. Some outfits are quarterly. Either way, total hours versus hours driven will be the end result.

Try this: if their expectation is 16% or less, that only adds up to about an hour and a half idle time for every 11 hours driving. Not much at all.

    I like this, pretty smart.

So the expectation is.... For every five day work week COMPLETED, you earn the ability to idle for ONE HALF of ONE BREAK.
