Well, I didn't exactly get all the painting done. Technically, I never started. I did bag up 3 lawns worth of leaves.

I'll be calling the accountants tomorrow to verify that if I buy another truck, I can write it off and cover the back taxes I owe. If it will go the way I want, I'll trade the white whale in this week. Well, that's MY plan, anyways

I'm going to have to double check my work tomorrow in the daylight to make sure it doesn't ground out.

The shop inspects these trailers when the local guys bring them in. Either they missed it or figured one light out won't hurt.....yeah.

I was sort of joking about that. One of the last times ever visiting a Freightliner dealer service dept a few years ago was some tail light issues and an annual DOT. I paid the bill while my son went an hooked his trailer to take off on a run. Apparently they didn't check their work at night. Their "fix" made the trailer clearance lights somehow get tied to the right turn circuit. Standing there holding their fresh (passed) annual DOT in my hand, it was one of those moments when I really wanted to kick the #### out of someone.

I couldn't find my electrical tape and used duct tape. Not my best work. I think my electrical tape is buried under the tire chains in my sidebox. Ask @peterbilt_2005 about those, lmao! :D

That tape will be safe there. Anyone knows it never snows in El Paso. :D

They toss them in there for the chain laws in Colorado, Oregon and Washington. Literally. On top of all my ####.

And God help me if I am asked to prove I have all the required chains. I will have to resort to plan B.

"Yo no hablar Inglés , oficial. Yo sólo soy un pobre campesino de un pequeño pueblo y no entiendo las leyes de la cadena ."

I guess this would have to be a "Pick Up TRACK"
