Despite a questionable start, it was certainly one of those rare days where everything just came together.
And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, the 35k load I booked turned out to be 14k. And I was 3 hours early, even after killing a little time not to be too early. And was on the road 1.5 hrs later, loaded out to the doors. I should have bought a lottery ticket while i was in the truck stop eating a while ago.
I took the pictures so I can treasure that memory when the road pictured above is under a foot of snow and ice.
I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

@Rocks & @TruckDuo watch. The wonderful state of California. They can't deal with water from the sky. Flash floods deviation on CA-58 and I-5

LOL Took a 200 mile out of route to get around that mess. Looked it up.... they had more rain that morning than all of last winter in Lebec area.
That area has been so dry there was no way the water was going to soak in.
Basically the drainage ditch down the middle of the steep part of Grapevine jumped it's banks and covered the highway. It's a seasonal occurrence in most of the rest of the country.
CA58 haven't found out what happened there yet......Rocks, HeWhoMustNotBeNamed and TruckDuo Thank this. -
Leaves are nicer this year in Pa then the last couple.....and Farmers says milder winter...and fer a minute I believed em...till I was headed back to the house yesterday w/some buddies after a relatively chilly bike ride&the late afternoon shower turned to big fat wet snow!....Lmao....only lasted a mile or 5......time we got over the rock&to the house sun was back out....so I fired up the weber&sacrificed a large amount of pig in hopes of satisfying the snow gods.....
2miles away Red...well as Sysco's go...that one doesn't suck....unless of course your stuck goin to the evil empire across the big road....
Northeast Ohio Fresh Food Center.....fancy name fer Cleveland marketTall Mike, RedForeman, Al. Roper and 2 others Thank this.
