For a while we were catching some yard pimp out of Milford. Easy trip down from Philly, then back towards the US-50 bridge via DE-4-oh-something. Lines? Don't need 'em. When you feel a wheel dropping off the edge, just swerve the other way and make that road your #####.

I ran 13 a number of times... chicken places don't stink so much since the McMansions started popping up. The don't appreciate the thrumming of Jakes through a set of delicately tuned pipes either.

you would get off del memorial bridge jump right on 13 in Wilmington and when you got to 107 traffic lights you were back in open country then your only decision was taking 13 or 113

My plan went without a hitch. I think this trip has just been a blessed one, or the disaster just hasn't come yet. Nonetheless, here I sit, staged exactly where I thought I should be. When they figure out where they're gonna stuff 14 skids of their crap, I'll get a knock. The dock is tight, but not the worst ever.



For those of you that like to work out a puzzle, check this location out and guess how I got there, coming from the Commerce, GA TA. FYI Google sat and street view show either a vacant lot or construction adjacent to the landmark gay hotspot that I'm in the no parking zone in front of. It's actually a 6 level parking deck now, and the fence is all the way up to the sidewalk. The big parking lot to the left of me is a no-go as well, gnarly curb right there in the middle. Besides, it can't be no parking 'cause I parked there.

A little bonus show this morning. Early bird commuters make for some fast aggressive traffic in the wee hours. SB on I-85 just before Buford, I'm minding my own business, rolling the speed limit in the slow lane about 100 yds behind another big truck, and see about 3 four wheelers coming up in the mirrors fast. Car in the lead doing maybe 75, and a Ford pickup all up on his ### swerving around looking for an angle, almost left a plastic scuff on my front bumper. That mess goes by, and the rear car eases by, with the distinctive neon Charger tail lights. Another swerve a minute later and it's a blue light party. Georgia State Patrol 1 vs. Ford pickup 0. Get-r-done!

 

Missed most of the traffic this morning coming down 85, taking a few minutes for myself at the 285 on 75 north right now.... This night is kicking my ###
