I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

Stopped at the Cenex in Mullinsville, KS. About got stuck pulling into the lot as half of it was water and mud. Looks like they've been getting considerable rain along here.

I admit it freaked me out a bit. But I sleep with air being pumped into me from a CPAP so I figure I'll live.

 

Ok... so... the day today wasn't as bad as I thought it would be... I mean, arrived at drop and hook location at 4:30 am.... yard dog was at the gate and when he saw me checking in, he told me he would pull my preloaded trailer out of the dock so I could put my empty there.... That was QUITE NICE!
Then, no day cabs cursing at me while I backed the empty trailer to the dock... Actually, I slid the tandems backwards cause although the spot was narrow, it would be a little "easier" to back with the tandems that way and less tail... And I did back quick with 2 tiny pull ups... didn't take more than a couple minutes... I was impressed with my own self...
Got back at company warehouse before the bad rush morning hr traffic jam...



Walked a few miles to next shipper nearby where will be picking up tomorrow... Wanted to make sure about the entrance gate, check out the place... They told me could load today if I wanted... but I couldn't... Gotta deliver in Los Angeles tomorrow first...
Got reloaded here today, got truck washed... baby looks so shiny again...
And now parked at company warehouse yard again with 2 other trucks...
"Mine is the first on the left..."





We are all going to the same event tomorrow morning in Los Angeles...
But the place is soooo small... on a residential street.... we can't all go at same time... I will be the second truck... 30 mins after the first and 30 mins before the 3rd...

Decided to have lunch at the Galaxy next to here...
Told them what I wanted... rice, beans, french fries and salad with all the vegetables they had...


I was pleased... It was only $12.60 and had enough to fill myself and brought some for later.

 

Ah... and put one tire on the rack under trailer and another inside trailer... It's quite secure...



Tomorrow after empty, will move it to the end of trailer after loaded.... shipper told me that will be fine... will be very light and there will be enough room for everything... Good to know...

 

Oh yeah.. cause Mr. Maintenance boss man doesn't want any tire on the cat walk...

 

I think I'd quit asking that guy much. Either that or phrase it the opposite way that you want to do whatever. He's got a knack for picking whatever is the opposite way that you want to do something.
