Welcome aboard. Once you get settled a little PM me and I'll try and explain the easiest way for you to get home. I'd do it now but it's past my bedtime. Lol.

A van. With a heavy big house. How much can you scale with that? Have you seen van rates lately? We got a ton of big houses over here, but they all pull aluminum flats or steps. And one rgn guy.

I live in Florida and go to Colorado often. Neither are bad areas. There are no bad areas. Only got to be smart about what you go there for. Just like running up east, the rate better have some gravy on it for the tolls and dh out.

It's only 105" can scale about 43k..yes I look at van rates daily , not so great , but everything I own is paid for...if can do around a buck and a half a mile I'll do ok. No North east 4 me EVER , each to their own tho..

I used to say that about nyc. But an easy 1500 after fuel and tolls and dhing back for another one changed my tune real quick. one of my best months at Mercer all I did was run wv to brooklyn as fast as I could turn it. Cleared over 25k in 3weeks. I guess I'm greedy, I go where they money is. Some days that is running the Midwest, others it's running nyc, and others it's running to miami or Colorado.

43 is a little light. can pretty much forget about any canned/bottled goods loads. not saying you can't make it work, just lean on your coordinator a little more than the average joe while you learn the freight lanes.

Lol Spyder..I think I might run like that for 25k in 3 weeks.....that's a bunch of cash...I do have a huge truck and have trucked 4, 35 years so I'm kind of in semi retirement mode...need keep working but just not too hard anymore...time to enjoy the ride a little.

What is the wheelbase on your truck @Steven Jones
Also what is the empty weight? I sure would like one of those for me N the wife's semi retirement truck.

Not positive , just bought it about 2 months back, guessing 21500 but it probably weighs less, I'll post empty tractor weight in a week or so..wheelbase is 300"
