Worst receiver EVER!!
West Rock(formerly Rock Tenn)-Mooresville,N.C.
What should've been a simple 30 min. job to unload 6 paper rolls from a 53 foot trailer turned into a almost 5 HOUR ordeal.
I arrived at West Rock at 1:15 p.m.(had a 1:30 p.m. unload appointment). Waited in line with 5 other trucks to get unloaded. When I arrived I had about almost 5 hours of reset time to drive. Ended up waiting almost the whole 5 hours. It got bad to the point where I had to contact my dispatcher(who in turn contacted the CSR,who in turn contacted West Rock corporate)and tell them that if my truck wasn't unloaded by the time my DOT clock got down to 1 hour of drive time remaining I would have to leave and come back tomorrow morning at their expense. Turns out the issue was they were having staffing issues(they fired one forklift driver earlier that week and the new guy they hired was an idiot). They had another driver just focused on loading a trailer with paperboard instead of expediting unloading their freight. They finally got me unloaded and I made it to a truck stop with only 30 min. DOT time remaining.

Walmart DC's are always terrible, but my vote is FST in Columbus, OH. 15 hours waiting to be loaded with no detention pay. The broker sold a load that didn't exist yet and told me it was ready for pickup.

Another one on my $#!+list:
Coca Cola Bottling Co.-East Hartford,CT
Even if you show up on time or early for your loading appointment these mutha******* will have you sitting 4-5 hours-and that's just to get a door so you can get loaded, then you may be sitting an extra 2-4 hours while they load you,by that time you've almost run out of hours and Coca Cola doesn't allow drivers to sleep on their lots(and Connecticut doesn't have many places to safely shut down a truck-especially around Hartford.).
This is why I drink Pepsi you jackholes!!!KB3MMX Thanks this. -
Another one for the list...
C&S Wholesale Grocers warehouse-Windsor Locks,CT
$350 LUMPER FEE(for which it took the lumpers SIX HOURS to unload my truck) and the employees there act very unprofessional, like they don't care that they have 8-10 truck drivers waiting patiently for a door. Somebody just needs to burn that place to the ground.Last edited: Nov 6, 2015
