I'm signed up to drive with swift in a week. Do I get my own bunk to sleep in during the 6 week training? How does the sleeping situation work?

Be very weary of any driver that says your sharing a bed.

You get your own bed dude... I don't work for Swift but 100% guaranteed the truck will have "bunks" and you will more than likely have the top one.

You are sharing a bunk one gets top bunk the other bottom it's not a pleasant experience but you do what you need to before getting your own truck.

The answer is yes and no ... When you're shut down, you have a bunk and the trainer has a bunk. ... But ...

When you're teaming, the off driver will sleep in the bottom bunk and only in the bottom bunk. And if the on duty comes to a stopping point and the off duty driver will still be sleeping, then the driver goes into the top bunk.

So the reality of training/team driving is you will be spending most of your time hot racking the bottom bunk and some flipping of bunks back and forth.

Swift wont let you idle. Be prepared to share the bunk during the night to stay warm
