Misery loves company.
There is a big difference between a dislike of being taken advantage of, and being one of the malcontents that will never be satisfied. I try to avoid said malcontents, due to the infectious nature of their negativity.
A word about attitude and persistence

Way to go on the upgrade truck.
Where I work now all the trucks look nice on the outside and WE ARE to keep them looking that way by washing them when we fuel up. The first truck they put me in for dump trailer runs was a “beater” under power & played out shifter (13 sp) but drove & rode good. The other drivers kept telling don’t say anything about it and they will put you in a nicer truck. Well it came true when they moved me over to LPG trailers 2012 short nose day cab Pete to get in & out of farms. Went out on medical and when I came back they put me in yet another nice truck 2012 KW 800 day cab pulling cement trailers. Only complaint I have is the FM radio only picks up like 2 stations but they just installed the CB ants. so I can mount my CB now.
Yep do your job and do it well and someone will see it and reward you for it. May not be with $$ but then again just a “job well done” goes a long way.
Dave ----mountaingote and Mike2633 Thank this. -
Good job Mike!
You know, there is an old saying "it's the squeaky wheel that gets the grease." But something that isn't said too often, is that the squeaky wheel is also the first one to be replaced!

Polished my wheels today I think they came out really good.
You can see the difference between polished and unpolished which is the back set.Attached Files:

If you look good you'll work good, customers come out and notice my truck a lot and just by keeping it clean reflects well on me and my company and lessens the chance of static between us.
I look at the truck as my office, spend many hours in there each workday, why would I want to sit in filth. Commendable work ethic there sir. Enjoy that vulva.Mike2633 Thanks this. -
