Truckers in the slow line at the register drive governed trucks and are predispositioned to automatically go slow and #### up traffic.

In his post there were 2 lines; a long line and a short line. He got in the short line. Does that mean everyone in the short line cut in front of everyone in the long line?

    Raiderfanatic and OOwannaBE Thank this.

Yes, that's right. Probably the long line was drivers paying for fuel and the short line for those buying store items. Not uncommon in a busy truck stop.

Self explanatory; he said there were 2 lines; a short line and a longer line so he chose the short line. He didn't say there was one long line feeding two cash registers. Maybe the OP has better critical thinking skills than the lemmings following each other.
Why would a person deliberately get in a line with 15 people when he could choose another line with 5 people? The OP was aware of his surrounding and within seconds figured out the shorter line would be more efficient for him. The driver that complained probably thinks everyone is out to get him instead of thinking,"Why didn't I get in the short line?" Once we leave high school it shouldn't take long to figure out those "trophies for participation" don't translate to anything in the real world. Those trophies are just warm & fuzzy so we believe all the "you're special" allocades showered on us for completing complicated tasks such as getting dressed in the morning.

I didn't read everything. Sorry if it's been said before.
I thought the unwritten rule in the truckstop was if there's a civilian trying to grab a coke and a candybar to let them go ahead. Especially if you're gunna tie up the register getting next months paychecks advanced to you.

Unless of course they're buying lotto. Then they should be drawn and quartered.

The blue-hair that plays the scratcher at the register, collects her cash and then gets more to go?? Yeah, apparently she's everywhere.
