I'm not gonna defend @Chinatown , he's a grown man and his reputation around here is being reproach....... But if you think he is the only one that has great antipathy toward Swift you are sorely mistaken. Maybe it's time for a 34 hr reset, get out of the truck for a bit. Might I suggest getting a room at one of those Candlewood Inn and Suites or one of their affiliates, they're pretty nice

Dear (fill in the blank), Get the chip off your shoulder. Your reading comprehension leaves a lot to be desired. My post was not directed at Swift or the OP; it is in response to Post #7. Just because you're a paid cheerleader for Swift doesn't mean the rest of us are your lemmings. Now, smile and wave into your driver facing camera so they know you're a company man.

That's OK, this guy shows up every now and then and goes into a rage against me. Guys like that try to bait people into arguments and when you fall for the bait, they attack. They treat their own family the same way; very mentally abusive to everyone.

I'm not shy about heated debate or passionate discourse, but when people get crazy or rude, it provides a dispiriting effect. There's got to be a better code of conduct, some basic etiquette.

Thread went a little off topic. Just curious what a reasonable average salary for a fist or 2nd year driver. Whenever I ask people I usually get an answer like "one time I made $$$ in 1 week" but it doesn't really help. I do appreciate the mileage info though. I was assuming a lot less average weekly mileage than 3000

Think I read it on here, and it made pretty good sense, but figure a thousand dollars a year for every cent per mile. Obviously it's not perfect and won't fit every situation, but will get you close.

Cannonrush, depending on how hard you run, you can expect to average 2000 to 2500 miles per week. Some weeks you may actually get 3000, but those will be rare, and some weeks you may get less than 2000. When that happens, it's time to have a chat with your DM because that is just not acceptable. Don't listen to those guys that answered first and said that 2000 miles is a three day run for them. That's all great for them, but they aren't in a 62 mph truck with e-logs. Kinda limits what one can do.

And yes, for your first year, you can expect about $35-40,000.
